Coming to Vilnius

How to come?

The easiest way is to fly to Vilnius International Airport, then take a taxi to go to the city center.
Direct flights from/to Copenhagen (every day): SAS
Direct flights from/to Nice (Wednesday and Sunday): WizzAir
Direct flights from/to Paris: Several possibilities

You can also fly to Kaunas airport (100km from Vilnius), and take a bus from there to Vilnius. The company is " Ollex Express" and it costs 15€.

La Lituanie, pays européen ne nécessite pas de passeport, excepté dans le cas d'une carte d'identité périmée.
Attention: La Lituanie ne reconnaît pas l'extension de la carte d'identitée. La date d'expiration indiquée sur la carte devra être valide. Dans le cas d'une carte périmée, un passeport valide sera alors nécessaire.

How to move inside the city?

It is recommended using an application on the phone Bolt, Uber or eTaksi.
If you don't use an app, please note that the rate for airport taxi is higher than the normal price, but still should be less than 15€.
Note: If you use an app, you have to wait the taxi at Departures, not arrivals.

Where to stay?

As an European capital, Vilnius offers a large selection of accomodations.
The wedding will happen in the city center: Pirkliu klubas (aka. Merchants Club), Gedimino pr. 35.

Some hotels nears the wedding hall (less than 10min walking distance):

Hilton Garden Inn Vilnius (the closest, 4 stars, price last checked around 100eur/night)
Ratonda Centrum (very close, 4 stars, price last checked around 80eur/night)
Novotel Vilnius (very central, close, 4 stars, price last checked around 90eur/night)
15th Avenue (very central, close, 3 stars, price last checked around 95eur/night)
Art City Inn (close, next to busy road, 4 stars, price last checked around 70eur/night)

Outside of the city center you can find cheaper accomodations, taxi are working very well in Vilnius and are not expensive, so it's an option to consider too.

What to visit?

Vilnius is a beautiful city, and it's very easy to spend several days to visit. If you feel like going outside of Vilnius, the castle of Trakai is beautiful as well.
